A Day in the Life as the CARES Service Manager:

As the CARES Service Manager, you will play a key role in guiding and supporting the CARES Team - a team of Energy Assistance Program Specialists responsible for assisting community members with eligibility-based program applications. Your days will be filled with dynamic activities, such as:

  • Leading and supporting the team in navigating the application process for energy assistance and other vital programs
  • Collaborating with other managers to ensure the day-to-day operations and administration of various programs 
  • Collaborating with the department director and other managers to strategize improvements for better performance and exceptional customer service
  • Creating a culture of respect, empathy, and care within your team to foster a positive and supportive work environment
