Day in the Life:

As a Maintenance and Groundskeeping Specialist at John Boner Neighborhood Center, your days will be dynamic and fulfilling. You'll start your mornings assisting in the implementation of various maintenance and groundskeeping projects, ensuring our properties are always in top-notch condition. From maintaining gardens and lawns to caring for foliage and ensuring outdoor structures are safe, your work will be diverse and rewarding. You'll also have the opportunity to participate in workshops and training projects to further develop your skills. Whether it's performing snow removal, conducting plumbing or electrical maintenance, or supervising community service workers, each day will bring new challenges and opportunities to make a difference.

You Would Thrive in This Position If:

- You have experience in maintenance, lawn care and snow removal.

- Currently possess a valid driver's license and have trailer towing experience.

- You enjoy working outdoors in various temperatures and have the physical stamina to handle extensive periods of activity.

- Your knowledge of foliage, gardening equipment, and maintenance products is top-notch.

- You possess excellent customer service skills and can communicate effectively with managers, guests, and coworkers.

- Maintaining a professional appearance and a friendly demeanor comes naturally to you.

- You're detail-oriented, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with accuracy.
