CARES Eligibility Specialist - Team Lead

A Day in the Life:

As the CARES Team Lead, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring your team’s success. You’ll start by overseeing the administration of eligibility-based programs, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. Monitoring program performance, you'll work with leadership to implement corrective action plans when needed. Your keen attention to detail will ensure accurate data collection and timely report submissions. Throughout the day, you'll supervise and evaluate your team, providing training and guidance, and ensuring that customer service remains exceptional. You’ll also be hands-on, processing and auditing applications to ensure compliance and quality. Your problem-solving skills will help you tackle any barriers, and your collaboration with other team leads will ensure daily production goals are met.

- You have a high school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of experience administering eligibility-based programs.

- You can maintain the confidentiality of client information and communicate effectively with diverse groups.

- Your leadership skills shine as you guide your team towards meeting goals and maintaining quality standards.

- You handle confrontation constructively and implement concepts learned from training with ease.

- You’re a self-starter who works independently in a fast-paced environment, yet thrives in a team setting.

- You’re proficient in Microsoft Windows & Office, web-based data management systems, and the Internet.

- Your schedule is flexible to meet seasonal demands, and you regularly attend the work site to perform your duties.
