A Day in the Life:
As a Financial Coach, your day begins by meeting one-on-one with clients—individuals and families seeking support to improve their financial well-being. You’ll listen closely, assess their needs, and help them create personalized action plans for budgeting, saving, debt reduction, and credit building. Between sessions, you might prepare for an upcoming workshop on topics like smart banking or identity theft protection, tailoring content to the audience's needs. You’ll collaborate with colleagues in team meetings to ensure clients are accessing the full range of support available through the Center for Working Families. Throughout the day, you’ll update client records, track progress toward program goals, and coordinate with community partners or financial institutions to connect clients with helpful products or services. Your role is dynamic, people-centered, and deeply impactful—each day presents new opportunities to empower others and help them take control of their financial futures.
